Conny Reuter

Conny Reuter has been Secretary General of SOLIDAR since October 2006. He is also serving as:

Before moving to Brussels, Conny worked in Paris and Berlin heading the Franco-German Youth Office (FGYO) Department for School and Youth Exchanges (1998-2006), working at La Ligue de l’enseignement in Paris on European projects (1990-1998) and heading the liaison office of La Ligue in Germany working on Franco-German youth exchanges in professional and vocational training (1985-1990). From April 2008 to April 2013 he served as President of the Social Platform, the platform of European Social NGOs.


 

Andrei Frank

Andrei Frank is the Education and Lifelong Learning Officer at SOLIDAR Foundation, where he contributes to the implementation of projects aimed at Building inclusive Learning Societies, based on openness and democracy, and where all members have an opportunity to participate in lifelong and life-wide learning opportunities, while monitoring and responding to trends and developments related to citizenship education and lifelong learning at European and national level. Before, he was SOLIDAR Foundation’s Education and Lifelong Learning Policy Fellow, being responsible of the research for and development of SOLIDAR Foundation’s annual publication, the Citizenship and Lifelong Learning Monitor.
Prior to this, he has been an Intern at the European Trade Union Committee for Education, working on social dialogue and economic governance topics, such as capacity building for social partners, trade union renewal, the European Semester, and the role of social partners in the integration of migrants and refugees in education. He holds an MA in European Studies – with a focus on European Policy – from the University of Amsterdam and a BA in Politics and Philosophy from the University of Sheffield.


 

Laura de Bonfils

Laura de Bonfils is Social Policy Coordinator at SOLIDAR, where she coordinates the work for building Social Europe focusing on social rights social inclusion and employment, monitoring the European Semester and the implementation of the European Pillar of Social Rights (EPSR). Prior to this she was the International Policy, Advocacy and Fundraising Manager at Volonteurope while also working at the UK charity Volunteering Matters, focusing on volunteering, active citizenship and combatting inequalities.
Prior to this she worked as a freelance researcher in social policy with a focus on equality, employment and migration. She worked at the European Institute for Gender Equality in Vilnius from 2012 to 2013, co-authoring the first edition of the Gender Equality Index. She has also experience working in several communications teams in non-profit organisations as well as working as a journalist for several Italian media, and as a Communications Officer for international events and theatre performances. She holds an MSc in Gender, Media and Culture at the London School of Economics and Political Science and an MA in Publishing and Journalism at LUMSA University in Rome.
