Useful Tools
Policy-making that would enhance enablers and remove barriers for the integration of migrants, refugees and asylum seekers (MRAs) in European labour markets must be informed by the experiences of MRAs navigating the European systems. For this, the SIRIUS project has devised a variety of tools which range from software on studying skills and qualifications of MRAs and on labour markets to documentaries accounting for testimonies of MRAs to an app which, through gamification, raises awareness on the administrative processes that MRAs experience when coming to Europe but also educates MRAs about various complex integration processes.

Software The SIRIUS research team has developed an econometric software and an input-output software to better assist further research on the topic, and provide the much needed evidence-based grounding for any policy initiative. The pieces of software are based on the research in the seven SIRIUS countries (Italy, Denmark, Finland, Switzerland, Greece, the UK, the Czech Republic) and they can be found here and here. |

Documentary The interactive documentary titled ‘WORKERS’ provides film essays that detail the thoughts and experiences of newcomers coming to Europe and navigating the process of integration as well as of natives reflecting on what integration of newcomers means for them. You can experience these stories here. |
